 As
an added resource to our patients, we have provided a general
Frequently Asked Questions list which may better assist you.
As always, please feel free to contact our office for further
details.
Do you stand behind your work?
We firmly believe that our guarantees exceed the normal and customary. We will do everything possible to please our patients and grant satisfaction, and are proud of our reputation and will continue to provide the best possible care before payment and after payment. Satisfied patients are our best advertisement.
Will you work with my insurance company?
We are happy to take your insurance on consignment. We must
first verify your coverage and get your benefit information,
then you pay your part up front and we wait for the insurance
company to mail the portion of our fee. We will, however,
bill you for anything your insurance does not cover.
Do you put patients to sleep for extractions?
On a daily basis we find it highly unusual for a patient to
need sedation. We use a local anesthetic and our experienced
dentists remove the teeth quickly and painlessly.
Do you perform other services such
as cleanings and fillings?
No, because we want to concentrate on making the best dentures
and partials that we can. We are always happy to refer you
to general dentists when you need to have or can afford to
have teeth restored. We always encourage patients to save
their teeth when it is possible, but we want to be here for
those who choose dentures or partials or need to have teeth
removed.
Do I need to make an appointment?
We like to schedule appointments so we can give you the best
time of day for the service that you need. However, we take
walk-ins and emergencies but will accommodate everyone as
quickly as possible.
What are your business hours?
We are open Monday through Friday 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. Usually
our doors are open at 7:45 and we take our last appointment
at 4:00.
What can I expect when I come in for
same day service?
In order to receive same day service we need to see you between
8:00 and 10:00. We can accommodate you as late as 11:00 but
it is much better to come as early as possible.
Our trained staff will talk with you about the dentures and
partials we have available for you. They will discuss our
different prices, guarantees and adjustment periods that come
with our economy, personalized, premium, and ultimate singles
or sets. Once you have decided which you prefer, the dental
assistant will assist you in picking out the teeth closest
to your natural teeth or the dentures you currently wear,
if you want to stay with the same look. We allow you to choose
the teeth with all dentures except our economy single or set.
We recommend that you at least choose our personalized set
to get the more natural look and the high impact acrylic.
After you have made your choice the dental assistant will measure you for trays and customize them for you. Our doctors will take your impressions and our lab will set the teeth up for you in approximately one to two hours. During this time you are welcome to leave and come back or to stay and wait. You will be seated in the chair again when your case is set up in wax. The economy denture does not get the free wax try-ins, but the doctor still needs to check the bite. For those who get the free wax try-ins, you are able to see exactly how the teeth will look before they are processed, and you are allowed to have us re-set the teeth if you are not happy with the look.
After you are satisfied with the look of the denture our lab will process them and we will seat them for you in the afternoon. You will be able to return for free adjustments from six months to lifetime, depending on the price denture you choose. |
